This week at St Cuthbert’s Hartlepool, our Year 6 transition talks have begun as pupils start to think about their next exciting step in their school journey.
During these sessions, pupils have been sharing and discussing their hopes and fears about moving on to secondary school. It has been lovely to see how open and thoughtful the children have been, supporting one another and realising that many of their feelings are shared by others.
These conversations are an important part of helping our pupils feel confident, prepared, and reassured as they approach this change. We are proud of the maturity and reflection Year 6 have shown as they begin to look ahead to their future.
We look forward to continuing to support them every step of the way.
