Learning Through Outdoor Maths Fun!
We were delighted to welcome Play Outdoors Hartlepool to St Cuthbert’s for a series of engaging parent and child sessions, where families explored the world of maths through fun-filled outdoor activities.
Gardening Club Enjoys an Autumn Adventure
Today, our Gardening Club enjoyed a fantastic afternoon outdoors with an autumn walk through Burn Valley Gardens. As we explored the gardens, pupils put their nature knowledge to the test by identifying different trees and shrubs using the shapes of their leaves and the fruits they produce. Along the way, we also spotted a variety of local wildlife, including squirrels and several species of birds. A particular highlight was seeing green parrots frolicking among the trees, which caused great excitement amongst the group!
Cross Country Success for St Cuthbert's
A huge well done to all of the children who were selected to represent St Cuthbert's at the recent Cross Country event. Our pupils were fantastic ambassadors for the school, demonstrating great determination, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Most importantly, they had lots of fun while taking part and giving their very best effort.
Our Nurturing Early Years & Nursery Provision
We offer a warm, welcoming Nursery for 3 and 4‑year‑olds, giving children a caring start to their education. Our Early Years team creates a joyful environment where young learners explore, play and develop early skills.
