Our wonderful pupils — led by our dedicated Little Green Gardeners — have received a School for Nature Award in recognition of all the hard work, care, and enthusiasm they’ve poured into making our school grounds greener, wilder, and more nature‑friendly.
The award is part of the School for Nature initiative, run by the national charity Learning Through Landscapes, whose patron is none other than Sir David Attenborough. Knowing that the work of our pupils is connected to a programme supported by such an inspiring environmental champion makes this achievement feel extra special!
From planting and caring for our green spaces to creating habitats that support local wildlife, our children have demonstrated a real passion for protecting the environment. Their efforts are helping us build a school community that values sustainability, outdoor learning, and the importance of caring for the natural world.
We are incredibly proud of every child who contributed — this award is a reflection of their commitment, teamwork, and love for nature.
A huge well done to our pupils and our Little Green Gardeners — you’ve made St. Cuthbert’s shine!
