We are delighted to share more wonderful news from our Gardening and Nature Club! This week, our young eco‑champions have been busy creating a cosy new home for some of the smallest — but most important — creatures in our environment.
To show our growing love for the planet and the natural world, the children have built a wildlife habitat using natural logs, offering a safe space for insects such as worms, ants, and bees to thrive. These mini‑beasts play a vital role in keeping our ecosystem healthy, and we are proud to help protect them.

A heartfelt thank you to Shogun Warrior Tree Services for kindly donating the logs. Their generosity made this project possible, and we are incredibly grateful for their support in helping our children learn about sustainability and environmental care.
At St. Cuthbert’s, we believe that even small projects can make a big impact, and we hope our new insect home will encourage even more wildlife to flourish in our school grounds.
Together, we’re helping nature grow — one small step at a time.
