Our Gardening Club members had a fantastic time this week helping to care for our feathered friends by creating their very own bird feeders.
Using bird seed and coconut oil, the children carefully made a nourishing treat for visiting birds. They melted the coconut oil, mixed it with the bird seed and then waited patiently for the mixture to set. Before long, their homemade bird feeders were ready to be placed outdoors to support local wildlife. ✨
The activity provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to learn more about caring for nature while developing their gardening skills and creativity.
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Helen, Asda's Community Champion, for kindly donating daffodil bulbs to our Gardening Club. We are incredibly grateful for the support and look forward to planting the bulbs and seeing a beautiful display of spring colour around the school in the months ahead.
Well done to everyone involved for helping to make our school environment even more welcoming for both people and wildlife!
