We were delighted to welcome Play Outdoors Hartlepool to St Cuthbert’s for a series of engaging parent and child sessions, where families explored the world of maths through fun-filled outdoor activities.
Using natural surroundings as a classroom, parents and children worked together on a range of hands-on challenges that encouraged problem-solving, counting, measuring and exploring mathematical concepts in exciting and practical ways. The sessions showed just how enjoyable learning can be when it is combined with outdoor play and discovery.
It was wonderful to see children and their families learning side by side, building confidence, curiosity and stronger connections through shared experiences. The enthusiasm and enjoyment from everyone involved made the sessions a great success.
